What's New

Welcome to 'What's New' - a quick look at what's happening at Carnation Collectables

The first outdoor vintage extravaganza we attended was Vintage Nostalgia at Stockton Park near Warminster in Wiltshire. What a lovely friendly atmosphere! Thank you to everyone who popped into the marquee to purchase Erstwilder or from our growing stock of handmade clothes. Orders for waistcoats, shirts and dresses have been sent to their new homes,  I do hope you're all pleased with the results.

The following weekend was Retrofestival Newark (Retrofest North) and again a fabulous show at a new venue. Carnation Collectables opened the fashion show and the very first dress shown sold within minutes! I still have a couple of dresses and a waistcoat to make, so nearly there! I will be adding new fabrics to the website - including some exciting organic cotton featuring bicycles.

Sandhurst was the next weekend and what a hot one! Thanks to Lyn and Alison for all their planning and management.

The first delivery of Deer Arrow duly arrived. I am so impressed with the quality and detail. Congratulations to Lauren & Phoebe Pinkstone. My next order for the 'Wild' collection is expected to arrive at the end of July.

In the meantime, Erstwilder have released some old re-coloured favourites and on 5th July are releasing a woodland range 'Into the Woods'. My own stock of Into the Woods is delayed due to delivery issues with the carrier's computer systems.

I look forward to meeting you at the forthcoming shows.

Kind regards, Anne

P.S. Don't forget that for orders over £60 postage is free, otherwise it is £3.95 for first class small parcel. Items are now all trackable, so if you would like your tracking number, just email me at carnationcollectables@gmail.com
